The Planning Commission is comprised of five individuals and two alternates, each appointed to six year, staggered terms. The Planning Commission meets monthly to consider subdivision and land development proposals. The main goal of the Planning Commission is to respond to provide guidance and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors through the review and recommendation process for subdivision and land development proposals submitted to the Township.
The Planning Commission meets monthly, on the first Tuesday of each month. Currently, meetings begin at 6:30 PM and are held in the Township’s municipal building located at 26 Firehall Road. Occasionally, the Planning Commission conducts special meetings, workshops, or hearings that are advertised separately, typically a week or so before the meeting, in the Press-Enterprise.
